2nd EBC Network Workshop

Call for papers 2nd EBC Network Workshop

The purpose of the workshop is to bring together researchers from the EBC Network (a joint research network between Lancaster, Luxemburg, and Tilburg) working on topics related to banking, financial intermediation and corporate finance. It shall provide a forum where one can informally discuss work and present early-stage research as well as more mature work. Submissions from PhD students are encouraged.

Papers or extended abstracts should be sent electronically to Sophie Lux ( with the subject 'Submission to ‘2nd EBC Network Workshop' along with your affiliation and e-mail address by Friday March 03, 2017. Authors of accepted papers will be notified by March 31, 2017.

The Workshop will be at the Luxembourg School of Finance. There is no conference fee and there are no accommodation costs for the invited presenters, discussants and chairs, but all participants must cover their own travel costs. The first day will conclude with a round-table discussion on Basel 4, a cocktail reception, and the conference dinner. On Wednesday, May 10 starting at 1900, we offer a welcome reception and walking dinner at LSF premises.

The academic program starts on Thursday (May 11) at 8.45 and ends on Friday (May 12) at 12:15. We envisage a total of twelve to thirteen papers. Each paper will be allocated 45 min (30 minutes for presentation and 15 minutes for discussion). The program committee consists of faculty members from  Lancaster University, Luxembourg School of Finance, and Tilburg University.
