The 90th Dies Natalis

The theme of this official ceremony will be 'The Digital Society'.

Digital information technology is increasingly important in our society. The Netherlands is a compact, highly developed, well-organized country, with excellent physical and digital infrastructures. Tilburg University’s high-level research is internationally recognized and our researchers have experience in multi-disciplinary and cross-border collaboration. Thus, Tilburg University is uniquely placed to invest in innovative research, together with other knowledge organizations, business, government, and NGOs, to become a pioneer in human-oriented information technology, education, and research.

This year’s Dies Natalis also marks the celebration of our 90th anniversary. A variety of celebratory events are taking place on and off campus.
