Grow through Connected Leading
Tilburg University believes it is essential that all those who work for it can continue to grow. The Connected Leading program offers that opportunity and it has something on offer for all University staff: training sessions, events, and workshops. The twofold objective is constant: getting to know yourself better and continuing to grow. Taking part in one of the workshops will benefit you as well as your colleagues.
Discover your strength and your growth potential
How about coming to the ‘Connected Leading: The Personal Experience!’ workshop? You will learn to understand how you activate others, but also what it is like to follow you as a leader in certain situations. Together with Anita Verdonk you will be applying methods and practices used in Argentinian tango dancing and experiencing parallels with personal leadership. Our bodies remember situations and our reactions to these situations. For example, our bodies exhibit our primary behavioral preferences when we engage with others and with a new environment or task, especially when leadership, following, and collaboration are involved. In this workshop you will take the first step to experiencing this first-hand, using Connected Leading ideas.
Yes, you will learn about the tango as a dance, but the workshop is most emphatically not a dancing class. No dancing or music skills are required!
Understanding, fun, and growth
The main takeaways are:
- Experiencing what the Connected Leading philosophy means for you personally.
- Understanding your strengths and your potential for growth through Connected Leading principles.
- Having a fun workshop with colleagues.
