Educational innovators Tilburg University join ComeniusNetwork
The Comenius Network welcomes new members, including two lecturers from Tilburg University. Dr. Michael Bender and Dr. Marco Da Rin will join as Teaching Fellow for innovation projects in their education. The Comenius Network brings together acknowledged educational innovators to enhance higher education. Members of the network distinguish themselves by an appealing combination of the love for teaching and the way in which they put educational innovation into practice.
Dr. Michael Bender (TSB) joins with his project on harnessing Horizontal and Vertical Asymmetries in Expertise and Diversity across the Curriculum. Exercises will be designed to allow local and international Bachelor students to build basic intercultural skills. These exercises are carried out by Master students, supervised by instructors, so they can apply and develop their advanced intercultural skills and group management expertise in a real setting, with real cultural diversity (vertical peers).
Dr. Marco Da Rin (TiSEM) joins with his project on writing, using, and disseminating - free of charge - two high-quality cases (and related Teaching Notes) about entrepreneurial companies and their fundraising struggles. Business cases are practical pedagogical instrument to teach students how to bridge theory and practice.
