HRS alumnus wins Ten Clarenwater MSc thesis award 2019
Marc Kuijken, Human Resources Studies (HRS) alumnus, has won the Ten Clarenwater MSc thesis award 2019 to the amount of €1,500. This award is especially for students who have written a thesis about family businesses.
The winning thesis is entitled Supervisory board's team effectiveness in family errors: The role of information and faultlines. Marc looked at the moderating effect of family diversity ratio on the relationship between access to information and resources and supervisory board performance in family businesses. The thesis was supervised by Dr. Brigitte Kroon (dept. HRS), also affiliated with the Tilburg Institute for Family Business (TIFB).
