Photo collection Harry Guntlisbergen donated to Brabant Collection

Published: 28th August 2019 Last updated: 29th June 2020

Harry Guntlisbergen (1934-2001) was an amateur photographer, who captured Brabant’s life and landscape in mainly black and white photographs. Last year, his children decided to donate his oeuvre to the Brabant Collection, so that his work can be preserved under good conditions and made accessible to a wider public.

The work of this photographer is complementary to the existing collections of a number of other Brabant photographers, such as Martien Coppens, Rees Diepen and Noud Aartsen. They portray the history of Brabant in their own way. The transfer took place on August 16, 2019. After that, the collection will be digitized and made accessible. In time, these photos will be available to everyone via the website of the Brabant Collection.
