Tilburg University strengthens its position in QS subject ranking

In the 2021 QS World University Rankings by Subject, Tilburg University has further improved its rankings positions across the board. In the broad faculty area of Social Sciences & Management, Tilburg University ranks in the top 100 worldwide (#72). This is a substantial increase compared to 2020 (#92), 2019 (#115) and 2018 (#152).

The Executive Board welcomes the results: 'We are proud of our scientists, who together make an important qualitative contribution to society by using their research and expertise to find solutions to complex problems. Current examples are the support for logistics management in the vaccination campaign of the RIVM and for patient care in the Elisabeth Hospital. We would like to express our gratitude and appreciation to all our scientists.’

In the underlying disciplines, Tilburg University achieves top rankings in Economics & Econometrics (#28) and Accounting & Finance (#36). For these subjects, Tilburg University also achieves the highest position of all Dutch universities. In addition, also Business & Management, Law & Legal Studies, Statistics & Operations Studies, and Psychology are in the top 100 worldwide.
