The Times Higher Education ranks the Tilburg School of Economics & Business 5th among the top of universities and business schools in Europe and 21st worldwide.

TiSEM scores well in research (citations and reputation) and also in acquiring funding from the private sector (attracting industry funding), and in terms of its international orientation. The THE ranking is very influential internationally and evaluates the reputation of universities and business schools in the fields of education and research.

This year our score on citations was 81 (70 last year, on a scale of 0 to 100); on funds from the private sector (industry income) it was 99.5 %, same as last year, and on international orientation it was 77, compared to 74 last year.

Prof. Lex Meijdam, Dean of TISEM, is very pleased with this place at the top in the ranking: ’For years now TISEM has shown it ranks among the best in the world. We are constantly working on the quality of our education, our research and our impact, and that way we maintain our position at the top.’
