Tilburg University has achieved several top positions in QS World University Rankings by Subject 2024
10th April 2024In line with previous years, Tilburg University has achieved several top positions in the 2024 QS World University Rankings by Subject. Since 2020, our university has ranked in the worldwide top 100 in the broad faculty area of Social Sciences & Management. Our ranking rose from a 94th position in 2023 to a 88th position in 2024 in this area.

The benefits of tailored pension contracts
08th April 2024The new Future Pensions Act (Wet toekomst pensioenen) provides for more tailored opportunities in individualized pension contracts. In his PhD thesis, entitled Individualized pension contracts: risks, welfare losses and investment choices, Bart Dees analyses the welfare gains that can potentially be achieved by tailoring pension contracts to individual preferences.

Nominated for the E. du Perron Prize 2022/23: Karin Amatmoekrim, Niña Weijers, and Frank Nellen
08th April 2024Writers Karin Amatmoekrim, Niña Weijers, and Frank Nellen have been nominated for the E. du Perron Prize 2022/23. The jury of the Prize has nominated three books, using the writing of Du Perron as a guide and inspiration. The presentation ceremony will take place on May 16, before the start of Night University, in the Marga Klompé building. Ellen Deckwitz, essayist, columnist, and City Poet of Amsterdam, will present the E. du Perron Lecture.
