Opening Academic Year 2021-2022
On Monday, August 30, the Opening of the Academic Year will take place at 4 p.m. in the auditorium. During this academic ceremony, the University will reflect on its 95th anniversary. And it celebrates another birthday: it has been 50 years since the department of psychology was founded. The keynote address will therefore focus on the social role of psychology and will be delivered by Professor of Social and Behavioral Sciences Tom Smeets.

Dean's Den
Students pitch their idea in 1 minute for our 100th Anniversary. In this way they participate in shaping the Strategic Plan in which we work towards 2027, the year in which Tilburg University celebrates its 100th anniversary. The jury, consisting of the deans, will choose the winner on the spot. The winner will receive a cash prize of 500 euros. In addition, the winning pitch will actually be carried out.
