New European Unified Patent Court: a great improvement for the Netherlands

On June 1, 2023, the new European Patent Court or Unified Patent Court (UPC) will open its doors. This event is important not only for the legal community but for all citizens of the European Union, states Prof. Willem Hoyng in the farewell address he will deliver at Tilburg University on Friday, April 21, 2023. He will set out the importance of the UPC and, in the margins, provide strong criticism of the Dutch Intellectual Property Court and Supreme Court.
