Keuzegids Universities 2018: Three Tilburg University Bachelors rank #1
Press Release 14-11-2017 - Three Tilburg University Bachelor’s programs have been ranked as the best in their field. This is shown by the rankings in the Keuzegids Universities 2018, in which all academic Bachelor’s programs in the Netherlands are assessed and compared. Among the thirteen Dutch universities, Tilburg University is fourth in the ranking of best Bachelor’s programs.
Overall, Tilburg University scores 64.5 points. This is an increase relative to the editions of 2017 (63), 2016 (64), and 2015 (63). The national average of the assessments of all universities is 62.2. Tilburg University therefore clearly scores higher than the national average. In this year’s Keuzegids, the best scoring university is Wageningen University with 76 points.

Economics and Liberal Arts & Sciences are top programs
With a total score of 86, the Bachelor’s program of Economics belongs to the top of Dutch academic education. The same goes for the Liberal Arts & Sciences Bachelor (University College Tilburg) with a total score of 82. These programs have therefore been awarded the ‘top program’ quality label – as in previous years.
Three Bachelors best in their field
Three of the 20 Tilburg University Bachelors assessed achieve a #1 position in the ranking in their field. They include the Bachelor’s programs of Communication and Information Sciences, Economics, and Tax Economics. Psychology scores very highly with a #2 position among ten programs. The same goes for Tax Law (ties for second place out of five).
