SmartUrbi research nears completion
Over the past 2,5 years, a research consortium of over 20 organizations in six countries studied and discussed the work of ‘smart urban intermediaries’. Mark van Ostaijen (research in Amsterdam) en Merlijn van Hulst (overall project leader) represented the Tilburg Institute of Governance / TLS department Public Law & Governance in this SmartUrbI research. On September 17 and 18, the project experienced its fourth and final international meeting.
After Glasgow, Lisbon and Krakow, some 50 intermediaries, policy makers and researchers met in Copenhagen to discuss findings, visit exciting local projects, do democracy fitness, think about next steps and formulate of policy advice.
