Study abroad during BSc Econometrics and Operations Research
Studying abroad is the perfect way to broaden your view and make the most of your study program. We believe that international study experiences are an essential part of investing in your future career. As our students can attest, it's guaranteed to be an unforgettable experience - and one that is highly valued by prospective employers. We therefor aim to offer our Bachelor’s students the possibility to spend a few months in a different country in the third year of their study program.
A valuable experience
Going on exchange is a big adventure: experiencing a whole new culture, language and way of life, including the ways in which different cultures view the world, and even how differently they approach university education. Immersing yourself in a new city with new people and studying at another university is an exciting and educational experience.
When can I go on exchange?
The program in Econometrics and Operations Research leaves room for following some courses abroad. In the third year of your studies, we offer you the opportunity to spend Fall in a different country and obtain 30 ECTS worth of compulsory and free electives. In this way, you will not have any study delay. It is also possible to study abroad in Spring, but it is not possible to finish your Bachelor thesis there.
Where can I go?
We have exchange agreements with top partner universities all over the world. As a student of Tilburg University you can choose from a huge number of international destinations.
