Culture and sports

Students have ranked Tilburg University's Sports Center as the best sports center in the Netherlands. It offers a broad program of activities and facilities for both recreational users and those who wish to play sports at a competitive level. You can work out at any time from early morning to late evening. Sports Center membership is offered at a price appropriate to a student budget.

By paying a small fee, you will have access to a wide range of sport activities such as aerobics and dance, boxing and martial arts, ball sports, and water, snow and ice sports. You can also join a sports association and participate in competitions.

We have special facilities for students who play sports at a professional or semi-professional level.

Symposia and debates

Throughout the year, Studium Generale organizes symposia, debates, and small-scale exchanges focusing on scientific, social and ideological issues.

Cultural associations and places

There are a number of cultural associations and places dedicated to theater, drama, and musical foundation. We also provide spaces for performances and rehearsals, and also has a music room with a piano which can be freely used.
