Program in BSc International Sociology

International Sociology focuses on the dynamics between man and society. You study topical social themes such as migration, poverty and inequality, and cultural differences, while connecting these themes to politics and policy.

After having acquired a broad sociological basis in the first year, you will choose one of two majors: 'Culture in comparative perspective' or 'Social risks in a changing world'. Depending on your ambitions and interests, you shape your own education.

International Sociology is a small-scale program ensuring personal attention and guidance. The curriculum leaves enough room to put into practice what you have learned. You will conduct exploratory sociological research and also do an internship. On top of that, the program in International Sociology offers the possibility to study abroad without study delay.
