In the fall, the Language Center offers its courses either entirely online or partly online and partly on campus. In each course description (website and/or Osiris), you will find information about this, including information about how the final exams are administered and what the technical requirements are to be able to attend the course successfully.
For courses that take place partly on campus, we naturally follow all the RIVM regulations and guidelines, and we follow the Tilburg University Roadmap. We consider it very important to offer our students and lecturers a safe educational environment. Of course, we guarantee social distancing (1.5 meters) everywhere, we clean extra carefully, and we make hygiene products available. There are also fewer participants per group.
Before the start of the course
- For your and our safety, we ask you to take note of the most important regulations for your visit to the campus.
- Do you have complaints such as a cold, sore throat and/or fever? Or does one of your roommates suffer from this? We explicitly ask you not to come to campus and stay at home.
Upon entry
- We ask you to be present no earlier than 15 minutes before the start of the lesson.
- When entering the building, you will be asked to disinfect your hands.
- There is a walking route in the building.
During the lesson
- Hand alcohol and disinfectant surface spray are present in every classroom.
- The maximum group size for the group courses varies from classroom to classroom but is set at 1.5 meters distance from each other.
- We ask you to follow the lecturer’s instructions during the lesson and to keep a distance of 1.5 meters from each other and from the lecturer.
If you have any questions or if there are any ambiguities, we refer you to Tilburg University's general page with frequently asked questions and answers about the coronavirus.
