Tilburg University is an internationally oriented research and education institute. The Language Center assists students, university staff, and non-university students in improving their language proficiency.

Learn a foreign Language for free with your language vouchers
Tilburg University offers its students the opportunity to follow free language courses. Are you enrolled at Tilburg University and paying tuition fees here? If so, you will have received twelve digital language vouchers at the start of your studies. Exchange students and Pre-Master's students also receive these twelve language vouchers.
Choose your Course
Russian for Beginners 1
You will learn the basics in Russian during this course. A variety of exercises will help you learn to read and write the Russian alphabet and a number of short games will teach you how to recognize letters and words. Writing is primarily used as an educational method: the emphasis of the course is on speaking and listening. A number of different role plays will be used in various contexts.
Russian for Beginners 2
This course is the follow-up of the Russian for Beginners 1 course. You can read Russian reasonably well and are able to talk in the present, past, and future using simple sentences.
