Study communication in light of current social and technological developments. Acquire solid research skills to contribute to the development of evidence-based communication strategies and tools. Tailor the program to your own preferences by choosing from a wide range of electives.

  • Delve into a variety of topics such as:
    • How can organizations protect their (online) reputation during a crisis?
    • How can data visualization techniques be used to enhance comprehension?
    • How can games and ‘gamification’ be used to increase learning outcomes?
  • Connect theory to practice by working with real-life cases.
  • You have the option to specialize with one of the following tracks:
  • Consider applying for the two-year Dual degree program with Wirtschaftsuniversität Vienna, focusing on business communication with special emphasis on digital and intercultural communication. A scholarship covers part of the tuition.

  • The academic background of the students in our Master's program varies a lot. If you have a Bachelor's degree in a different subject area than those mentioned above you are also welcome to apply if you have basic knowledge of and followed courses on, for example, communication theory, psycholinguistics, social psychology, or business communication.

Open to both Research University students and students of a Dutch University of Applied Sciences (HBO).
