Pre-Master's program Organization Studies

The pre-Master's program for Dutch hbo graduates builds on the practice-oriented knowledge you acquired during your Bachelor's by enhancing your theoretical knowledge as well as your capacity for conceptual thinking.

This one-year pre-Master’s program (60 ECTS) runs from the end of August until June.

After finishing this program with good results, you can:

• Start with the one-year Master's program in Organization Studies end of August next academic year. You can also follow the Extended Master Organization Studies.
• Enroll for the Master's track Organizing for Global Social Challenges starting end of August of the subsequent academic year.

• Qualitative Research Methods (6 ECTS)
• Tutorial pre-master Organization Studies (0 ECTS)
• Causal Analysis Techniques  (6 ECTS)
• Organization Theory (6 ECTS)
• Construction and Analysis of Questionnaires (6 ECTS)
• Organization Development (6 ECTS)
• Empirical Research pre-Master Organization Studies (6 ECTS)
• Relations and Networks of Organizations (6 ECTS)
• Strategic Decision-Making (6 ECTS)

Application and admission

To be eligible for this pre-Master's program, you must have completed a Dutch hbo Bachelor's program that gives direct access to the pre-Master's program in Organization Studies.

The pre-Master’s program is tailor-made to individual learning needs, providing you with the foundation needed to follow our Master's in Organization Studies.

After finishing the program with good results, you can:

• Start with the one-year MSc program in Organization Studies end of August of the subsequent academic year. You can also follow the Extended Master Organization Studies.
• Enroll for the Master's track Organizing for Global Social Challenges starting end of August of the subsequent academic year.

Application and admission

After you have submitted your complete application, the Admissions Committee will, based on this, decide whether:

1. You can be admitted to the Master's program directly.
2. You need to take a pre-Master's program.
3. You cannot be admitted to the (pre-)Master's program.
