Economics: Data Science1 year English Starts end of August and end of January
Become an economist with hands-on experience in processing and interpreting unstructured (big) data sets. With a strong foundation in statistical modeling and additional training in programming languages, you will have the right skillset to understand the economic value of data and to become an ''analytics translator'': a person who can bridge the technical expertise of data engineers with the end user in any organization (managers, policy makers, etc.). This is a track of MSc Economics.
Quantitative Finance and Actuarial Science1 year English Starts end of August and end of January
Apply and develop advanced new mathematical or statistical tools to tackle a wide range of financial and actuarial challenges, ranging from price setting to risk management and policy advice.
Sociology1 year English Starts end of August and end of January
Central theme: politics, policy and society in a comparative perspective. Become an expert in translating important societal questions from both micro (family, social networks, crime) and macro perspectives (welfare state, solidarity) into sociological research to evaluate policies and to serve as input for new policies. The Sociology master focuses on the analysis of such social cohesion related issues, such as populism in politics, social contacts, and solidarity.
