New series of webinars on Research Data Management

For the first semester of the Academic Year 2021/2022, the Research Data Office has planned several webinars on the important topic of Research Data Management. Registration for all events is now open.

The webinars are given by the Research Data Office and several guest speakers that are expert in their field. The first webinar is about “Research Data & Information Security” with security expert Jeffeny Hoogervoorst.

If you want to learn more about the principles and requirements of data security, and why tools such as Dropbox are not safe, or if you want to know how you can safely send data and encrypt your files and devices, then join our webinar on October 19. This particular webinar is part of the activities of the Awareness Week for (online) security & privacy.

The target groups of these webinars are PhD students and (senior) researchers of Tilburg University.

About the Research Data Office (RDO)

The Research Data Office (RDO) is the virtual one-stop shop for researchers and Schools for all questions about research data management. The RDO offers support and advice on managing, storing and preserving research data, research data management plans, and processing personal data in research data. The RDO organizes (online) trainings and theme sessions on research data management on a regular basis.
