Boat trip Den Bosch-Heusden and v.v. with coffee and Bosche Bol and high tea

Have you ever been to the old fortified town of Heusden? We leave by boat from Den Bosch while enjoying a cup of coffee and a Bosche bol. Then we sail via the lock of Engelen over the Meuse to Heusden where you will have 2 hours to visit this restored fortified town where many artists have their galleries. On the way back a high tea will be served.

This beautiful town on the Meuse has the beautiful old style that it still owes today to a forty year old restoration project. Despite the heavy destruction that the town underwent on the eve of the liberation in November 1944, there are still plenty of historical sights to admire. During the day trip Heusden you will have plenty of opportunity to explore this old town. Take a look at the fish market, the harbour and the St. Catherine's Church. We visit Heusden with a tour boat from Den Bosch.

Program

The destination of the day trip Heusden is the old fortified town Heusden aan de Maas. After boarding the Zuid-Willemsvaart we leave the beautifully restored harbour of 's-Hertogenbosch. We sail along the Dieze to the village of Engelen where we enter the lock. In the lock at Engelen you can experience the locks up close. Once on the Meuse we pass Bokhoven, Ammerzoden and Well. Two hours after departure we arrive in the beautiful city of Heusden. At departure coffee/tea with a Bossche Bol and on the way back a mini High Tea with unlimited coffee or tea.

11:00 hours Departure of the boat from the Zuid-Willemsvaart (near the Citadel) to Heusden . During the two-hour trip coffee / tea with cake.
13:00 hours Arrival Heusden (2 hours free time)
15:00 hours

Departure from the boat to Den Bosch with on board a high tea with unlimited coffee and tea.
17:00 hours Arrival in Den Bosch
