Expertise

I am currently a PhD candidate under the supervision of Dr. Marie Postma. My research explores mind wandering and inattention. More specifically, I am investigating the causes, effects, behavioral and neuro-physiological correlates(computer mouse movements, eye movements, pitch,  & EEG signals) of mind wandering.

Onderwijs

Together with Dr. Marie Postma, I teach the course, "Attention, Perception, & Memory", which covers topics that are close to my heart and to my research. Together with Dr. Eriko Fukuda, I teach the course "Professional and Academic Skills", which covers topics such as academic writing, using LaTeX, and  elevator pitches, all important for a professional life after university.
