Bio

I am Assistant Professor of Liturgical Studies and Sacramental Theology at the Tilburg School of Catholic Theology (TST). I obtained my Phd at the KULeuven (Belgium) with research on the liturgical and eucharistic theology of the Catholic Tübingen School and Döllinger.  Nowadays, I mainly focus on the Liturgical Movement and the liturgical reforms of the Second Vatican Council. I do this from both a liturgical theological and a liturgical pastoral perspective. Current focus points of my research and teaching are liturgical formation, and the relation between liturgy and church architecture. Since 2023, I also serve as vice-dean for education at the Tilburg School of Catholic Theology.
