Het Tilburg Instituut voor Familiebedrijven biedt het vak Bedrijfsopvolging van familiebedrijven aan.

Het is een multidisciplinair vak dat wordt aangeboden in de masters Fiscaal Recht, Fiscale Economie en Ondernemingsrecht. Het vak richt zich op de verschillende aspecten van bedrijfsopvolging die bij een familiebedrijf spelen, zoals de eigendomsoverdracht, de overdracht van de leiding, het toezicht, de waardering en financiering, de fiscale aspecten en de emotionele aspecten.

'Bedrijfsopvolging bij familiebedrijven'

Het programma Bedrijfsopvolging bij familiebedrijven is bedoeld voor adviseurs, klantcoördinatoren van de Belastingdienst, ondernemers en hun bedrijfsopvolgers. Dit multidisciplinaire programma focust op de uiteenlopende aspecten van een bedrijfsopvolging. Er is aandacht voor de fiscale, privaatrechtelijke, governance- en financieringsaspecten en uiteraard ook voor de psychologische kant. Met deze multidisciplinaire aanpak en een simulatie van adviesgesprekken met een familie aan de hand van levensechte rollen biedt het programma de laatste wetenschappelijke inzichten, de benodigde theoretische kennis en praktische handvatten voor - het begeleiden van - een succesvolle bedrijfsopvolging.

'Commissaris in het Familiebedrijf'

Het programma Commissaris in het Familiebedrijf is een multidisciplinaire programma dat focust op de ingewikkelde dilemma’s waar commissarissen in familiebedrijven mee te maken hebben. Het programma versterkt hun kennis en competenties, zodat zij hun rol op bevlogen, betrokken en verbindende wijze kunnen vervullen.

Scripties

TIFB richt zich ook op het bevorderen van het schrijven van bachelor- en masterscripties op het gebied van familiebedrijven. Studenten in diverse masterprogramma’s, zoals Fiscaal Recht, Ondernemingsrecht, Finance en Strategisch Management, schrijven hun masterthesis over verschillende aspecten van familiebedrijven.
