Bio

Ik ben Marjan Bakker en ben universitair docent bij de afdeling Methoden and Statistiek van de Universiteit van Tilburg. Ik wil graag de wetenschap verbeteren door problemen en mogelijke oplossingen te onderzoeken. Ik ben geïnteresseerd in rapportage fouten, het gebruik van twijfelachtige onderzoekspraktijken (QRPS), statistische power, outliers, publicatiebias en preregistratie. Op dit moment ben ik voornamelijk bezig met een aantal grotere projecten over preregistratie en met een project om Mahoney's baanbrekende studie over publicatiebias te repliceren (hiervoor kregen we een NWO replicatiesubsidie).

Ik geef ook cursussen over regressieanalyse aan psychologiestudenten (bachelor) en multilevel-analyse aan studenten van de onderzoeksmaster. Daarnaast werk ik graag samen met onderzoekers van andere afdelingen.
