David Schindler, Tilburg Economics Assist. Prof, wins Best Paper Award

We are pleased to announce that David Schindler has won this year's Best Paper Award at the 70th Econometric Society European Meeting (ESEM) which took place in Lisbon, Portugal. David has started in Tilburg, at the Economics Department, August 2017.

David shares his prize with co-author Christoph Koenig, for their paper on 'Dynamics in Gun Ownership and Crime - Evidence from the Aftermath of Sandy Hook'.

The Econometric Society is an international society for the advancement of economic theory in its relation to statistics and mathematics. It publishes international top journals including Econometrica, Quantitative Economics, and Theoretical Economics.
