Impact Program

The Tilburg University Impact Program brings together researchers and stakeholders in complex societal issues in order to advance society with the help of knowledge and innovation.

Creating Value from Data

voorbeeld impact3

Digitization and data are two sides of a coin. A considerable part of our daily behavior is stored in large databases that can be linked to each other as well. Tilburg University does not only develop new and better data science techniques, but also strives to improve transparent, reliable and responsible use of data.

We combine expertise in algorithms with legal and ethical expertise as well as knowledge of fields like finance, economics, logistics, labor market and Human Resources.

An example of successful cooperation in data science is the optimization of the World Food Programme.
