Impactfestival 2021 VSNU
On Wednesday, January 20, 2021, the Association of Universities (VSNU) and the Dutch Federation of University Medical Centers (NFU), together with the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science and the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate, organize Impact 2021 (online). On behalf of TIlburg University, the Impact Team submitted two showcases: the Impact Award and The New Common.
Program
During Impact 2021 the broad impact of science on society will be discussed. During this interactive event, table host Lieven Scheire will discuss the impact of science on society with prominent speakers, using appealing examples from the daily practice of universities and university clinics. Amongst others Minister Ingrid van Engelshoven, State Secretary Mona Keijzer, professors Beatrice de Graaf, Eveline Crone and Bert Weckhuysen, special envoy of Techleap.nl Constantijn van Oranje, and vice-chairman of UMC Utrecht Arno Hoes want to discuss the broad impact of Dutch science during Impact 2021.
