Minor Entrepreneurship Kick-off Lecture

The Minor Entrepreneurship Kick-off Lecture will be held on Wednesday August 29th at 12.45 in room CZ 115.

Alumnus Sebastian Mennes, serial-entrepreneur, speaker and writer, will share his entrepreneurial story and will tell about his experiences. Sebastian is well aware of the challenges of our technology-driven, performance-oriented society. He told his compelling story in front of 14.000 people at Inspiration360 in the Ziggo Dome. Sebastian found out the hard way that entrepreneurship is not merely a matter of success-stories. In 2009, he was listed as one of the most promising entrepreneurs in the Netherlands. Within the next two years, he ended up with a burn-out, and went nearly bankrupt. He managed to recover in the years that followed. He will share the lessons he learned about the dark side or entrepreneurship and share tips, tools & life-hacks when it comes to finding work-life balance.

In addition, more information will provided about the Minor Entrepreneurship, our on-campus Braventure network will be introduced, a network of startups, and our student association for entrepreneurial students, the Academic Business Club (ABC) will also be introduced.
