Over the past years we have witnessed a rapid growing interest in entrepreneurship in all its facets. Entrepreneurship has fostered economic growth, has disrupted conventional business fields and has spurred creativity and innovation in our society. Large corporations need entrepreneurial thinking to drive innovations. More and more businesses want to play a role in creating a better world. Entrepreneurship helps business to innovate and solve business-related and societal problems.
The societal and business impact of entrepreneurship has not gone unnoticed in the academic world. Entrepreneurship research is increasingly published in virtually all the top-core journals in Economics and Business. High-impact specialized journals such as Journal of Business Venturing and Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal have also risen in the academic ranks. There is an increasing demand for rigorous academic work in this field. Overall we aim to develop our expertise in entrepreneurship in, amongst others, the following areas:

- Sustainable entrepreneurship
- Creative entrepreneurship
There is a wide range of experts and academics on entrepreneurship connected to Tilburg University. TCE develops a campus-wide community on entrepreneurship by bringing researchers and their knowledge together. On this site, we regularly publish articles about entrepreneurship such as research results and blogs from our academic community.
