Director TILEC"TILEC is a Center of Excellence at Tilburg University, globally renowned for its first-rate interdisciplinary research on the governance of economic activity. Optimal market design lies at the core of our research, whereas the interdisciplinary method is the unique feature of our Center. Both Dutch and international companies and State regulators have entrusted to TILEC pressing policy questions that they were unable to answer in-house. Nowadays, TILEC is a vibrant research center with over 50 committed members. In the new decade, TILEC is moving decisively towards the pursuit of its vision, that is, to be recognized as a global leader in the study of economic governance in the digital age. A short history of TILEC and its past accomplishments
TILEC was created in 2003 and its first positive evaluation occurred already in 2005.1 The parent schools then concluded a Second Agreement regarding TILEC covering the period 2007-2011.
