Tilburg Law and Economics Center (TILEC) is pleased to announce its 15th Anniversary Conference:

Legal and Economic Challenges in Competition Policy

9 November 2018, Tilburg, The Netherlands

The goal of our conference is to gather academics in law and economics in a small scale setting and to discuss current challenges in competition policy.
We also give young scholars the opportunity to present their work and interact with other researchers through poster presentations.

Subjects include:

  • the role of innovation in competition law
  • novel theories of abuse of dominance
  •  behavioral economics and competition policy

Call for PhD posters for TILEC's 15th Anniversary Conference

TILEC is inviting posters from PhD researchers in competition law and/or economics. Accepted posters will be displayed at the conference, and provide presenters with the opportunity to engage in discussion with other conference participants about their research.

Candidates should send their CV, title of the presented research, a 300 word abstract, and poster to tilec@tilburguniversity.edu. Submitted posters will be evaluated by the Conference Scientific Committee. TILEC will cover travel and accommodation expenses of the selected PhD researchers up to 400 EUR. Presenters are expected to print their poster and bring it to the conference venue.

Deadline for submission: 8 October 2018. Decisions will be communicated by 15 October 2018.
