Energy Trading and its Multiplicity of Supervisors
Energy companies trade in derivatives which have a value based on energy commodities (“Energy Trading”). Energy Trading is subjected to several regulatory frameworks and – as a consequence – to a multitude of supervisory authorities at both a national- and European level.
