Ronald Coase Professorship
The Ronald Coase Visiting Professorship in Law and Economics is a visiting chair that aims to bring to Tilburg University and TILEC experienced scholars of academic distinction, who will conduct research and offer seminars of high quality while in residence. It is embedded within TILEC either at the Tilburg School of Economics and Management (TiSEM) or the Tilburg Law School (TLS).
The Ronald Coase Chair in Law and Economics was established in 2008. The late Nobel Memorial Prize Laureate in Economic Sciences Ronald Coase (1910-2013), globally renowned for his pioneering and inspiring work on institutional economics, and transaction costs in particular, gave his personal consent to the establishment of the Chair
