MuST Conferences
This series of annual conferences is a joint undertaking between the Sydney Centre for the Foundations of Science (SCFS), the Munich Center for Mathematical Philosophy (MCMP) and the Tilburg Center for Moral Philosophy, Epistemology and Philosophy of Science.
René Descartes Lectures, December 16-18, 2022
Every other year, a distinguished philosopher visits Tilburg University and the Tilburg Center for Moral Philosophy, Epistemology and Philosophy of Science to present the René Descartes Lectures. The lectures also feature invited commentaries and a workshop related to the lectures theme.
In 2022, the René Descartes Lecturer is Professor Cheshire Calhoun (Arizona State University). Professor Calhoun will deliver three lectures on the topic Responsible Persons.
