Brabant universities and GGZ Eindhoven together in scientific research

The universities of Tilburg and Eindhoven and GGzE (Mental Health Care Eindhoven and Kempen) will jointly conduct research in a so-called Academic Workplace. The three organizations focus on three fields: transition of mental healthcare, healing environment and personalized mental health.

On April 6, 2018, Jan Mengelers, President of Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), Rector Emile Aarts, of Tilburg University (TiU), and Marie-Louise Vossen of the Board of Mental Health Care Eindhoven and de Kempen (GGzE) sign a joint agreement for the Academic Workshop 'Technological and Social Innovation for Mental Health'. Within this academic workshop, the three parties will continue and extend their cooperation in the field of mental health research and innovation.

The collaboration is being led by Prof. Inge Bongers, Tranzo, Tilburg School of Social and Behavioral Sciences, Tilburg University and Prof. Ir. Yvonne de Kort, TU/e Center for Humans & Technology, TU/e. The collaboration includes leading researchers from TU/e and TiU along with the GGzE research group 'Evidence Based Management of Innovation'.
