Registered PhD students
Within the Graduate School, several facilities are provided to support PhD candidates, that is:
- Measures taken by the Graduate School to encourage PhD candidates to finish their PhD thesis within the available time (see supervision, PhD training, facilities). These measures follow from the Graduate School’s PhD policy.
- Providing clear procedures and help in the process of preparation for the defense of the PhD thesis.
In order to be registered with the Graduate School for Theology, PhD candidates are requested to hand in a project description at the Graduate School. After approval of this proposal, candidates can submit a request for the appointment of the (co-)supervisors and thus for official admission to the PhD program. This registration must be done via the online PhD tracking system Hora Finita. The possibility to register through Hora Finita, manuals, and more information can be found here. Candidates will get a Hora Finita account after the approval of their project description.
