Bio

I am a postdoc in BOLSTER project. My research interests broadly concern social justice and governance of climate transition policies. For the moment, I am theoretically engaging with new materialisms to study how climate transition policies construct processes of exclusion, both discursively and materially. I look at power and exclusion processes as constantly shaping and being shaped by human and non-human agents (primarily technology). In my practice, I aim to work with the art-based methods and data based on expereinces of vulnerable communities.

In my previous position within the RE-CITY Network on Shrinking Cities, I engaged with urban planning issues. I investigated the role of culture-led strategies in cities that struggle with population and economic decline.

I have conducted research in Latvia, Germany, and the Netherlands. This and next year, I will collect data in Cluj (Romania) and Bilbao (Spain).
