Bio

I am interested in how organizations make progress on grand challenges and the social and environmental aspects of new business models and technologies.  One stream of work investigates novel organizational approaches, with a focus on how and what actors value and the role of power.  A second stream investigates interrelations between technology and society from an organizational perspective, especially in healthcare.  I also work with foresight and scenario methodologies.

I have degrees from Northwestern University (BA), IESE Business School (MBA) and the Hertie School of Governance (PhD).  During my PhD, I was a visiting researcher at the Copenhagen Business School and Stanford University. Prior to my academic career, I worked on new product innovation and product marketing at HERE, the location division of Nokia.
