Personal:
I am married to Wieteke Lamers-van Rossum and have 2 children (Carlijn and Julia). I am a big cycling fan and spend quite some time on my racing bike enjoying Metallica and Iron Maiden. As of July 1, 2021 I have been enjoying a sabbatical, which I have used to spend much more time with my family and to explore other sides of life and myself.
Professional:
As of July 1, 2022 I have become a lecturer at the fiscal economics section of Tilburg University for 2 days a week. My area of expertise is international tax law and Dutch corporate income tax law.
Until June 30, 2021 I was a Dutch tax partner and member of the PwC Netherlands' AEX-Midkap Group (Dutch Outbound group) leading various knowledge groups and contributing to our tax technical opinion committee. I worked 4 years in New York leading the PwC Dutch desk and 9 months in Dublin at the Irish law firm Matheson.
Areas of expertise are international tax law and Dutch corporate income tax law.
