Bio

Cemre Bedir obtained his LLB from Istanbul University in 2014. He completed his one-year legal internship at the Istanbul Bar Association in 2015 and afterwards worked as a legal consultant in several international law firms based in Istanbul. He received LLM degrees in Corporate and Commercial Law from the LSE in 2017 and International and European Business Law from Leiden University in 2018. Currently he is the coordinator of Obligations and Contract Law-I at Tilburg University for which he gives law tutorials. He conducts his PhD research in law at Tilburg University. His PhD research is about safeguarding contractual fairness in contracts involving data. He is a member of the Ius Commune Research School.

Aside from Law, he is fond of nostalgia, cinema, and poetry. He must have forgotten something in his childhood as he tries to find it through collecting antique toys.
