Bio

I am a Phd candidate at Tilburg Law School, studying the effects of climate change in the ocean and how the current regulatory and legal framework is able (or unable) to address the issues in ocean governance specific to fisheries regulation management. Specifically, I am studying how the stakeholders of the fishing industry can utilize marine protected areas for climate change mitigation and adaptation purposes.

My areas of interests include law of the sea, ocean governance, environmental law, climate change law, global environmental and sustainability governance, and the Anthropocene.
