After obtaining Business Administration and Economics (double major) degrees from Koç University (2019) and a Research Master’s degree in Marketing from Tilburg University (2021), I have decided to pursue Ph.D. at the Department of Marketing at Tilburg University (since September 2021). I am mainly interested in hedonic consumption, specifically the enjoyment outcome. Therefore, for my master’s thesis, I worked with Dr. Robert Smith and Dr. Anika Stuppy on the enjoyment of multifaceted experiences and how framing would affect consumer enjoyment. I will carry on studying this subject in my Ph.D. Besides, I am also interested in effect of emotions in consumer behavior and decision-making processes. My other research interest is sustainable consumption practices and how brands’ approach to sustainability practices would impact consumers’ behavior towards the brand and environmental issues.
