Bio

I am Daniel Gelsing, a PhD candidate and entrepreneur passionate about managerial cognition and other micro perspectives.

My research currently focusses on CEO cognitive biases and how these biases influence a decision maker's internal decision calculus. How individuals shape their internal realities and then act upon it is fascinating to be, and most of my research is consequently in this avenue for research. I also have a keen interest in innovation, and in how cross cultural differences between firms in terms of culture and institutional systems affect organizational outcomes.

I have a major stake in a business that specializes in corporate gifting, and consult companies on their strategy (I also teach strategy consulting).

Being an entrepreneur and academic at the same time, I am extremely passionate about seeking and trying to realize the potential synergies that exist between business and academia.
