Bio

I am a third-year PhD student in the department of economics at Tilburg University, under the supervision of Dr. ir. Bert Willems and Dr. Ronald Huisman. I was admitted to research master in economics program in 2019 with a Koopmans merit scholarship and graduated with high distinction and was granted jenny ligthart prize. Before joining Tilburg University, I studied economics and finance in China, first at the Central University of Finance and Economics in Beijing, then at Renmin University.

My research is about market design and pricing of short-term and long-term electricity markets, especially how to tackle inflexibility and volatility in energy transition, a topic that receives a lot of attention because of European climate-neutral objective and supply shocks in the past few months.
