Bio

As of October 2019, Ekaterini Ioannou joined the Department of Management as an Assistant Professor in Information Management. Previously, Ekaterini worked at the Eindhoven University of Technology, the Open University of Cyprus, and was an adjunct faculty at EPFL in Switzerland. Her research focuses on information management with an emphasis on the challenges of managing data with uncertainties, heterogeneity or correlations. She also investigates blocking-based mechanisms for entity resolution over very large data collections as well as unstructured data (e.g., information from the Web).
