Bio

Frédéric Tomas is a linguist with a Ph.D. in Psychology from the Université de Paris 8. His main focus is on written deception detection, and how auditory cognitive load can help understand the cognitive mechanisms at play during the authorship of deceitful testimonies. Measurements include structural and content-related cues (based on the LIWC software), and behavioral cues (keystroke dynamics).
