Bio
Hans-Georg van Liempd has been the Secretary of the University since February 2021. In this role he acts also as Director of University Services.
In the past he held various position at Tilburg University such as Managing Director at the Tilburg School of Social and Behavioral Sciences (TSB, 2014-2021), director International Office (2006-2010), Senior Programme Manager ánd he served as (vice-) President of the European Association for International Education (EAIE, 2010-2014) and he had various interim roles, Director of the Strategy & Policy Departement (2014), interim Director Student Services (Spring 2016), interim Managing Director Law School (Fall 2017), interim Managing Director School of Humanities and Digital Sciences (Spring 2020).
Expertise
In the past he served as senior EAIE Trainer on (Implementing an) Internationalisation Strategy for many years. In this role as expert on Internationalisation of HE and strategy, he was frequently invited to speak at institutions and conferences, such as India, Colombia, Romania, France, Italy, Spain, Poland, Czech Republic, Belgium, Denmark, Finland and the Netherlands.
Furthermore, he is a member of several Supervisory Boards in the area of culture, health and education in the Netherlands and abroad.
